If you are planning a trip in the UK or further afield, it is advisable to take out travel insurance. Unfortunately, if you purchase a policy through your travel agent or holiday company, you could end up paying more, while buying online may not provide an appropriate level of protection.

Single or multi trip policy?

Typically, single trip insurance will meet your needs for any one holiday, while an annual, multi trip policy covers you for any number of trips during the term of the insurance, typically up to 31 days for any one trip.
